Now with Subtitles!

OK, here's the video with subtitles, courtesy my darling husband. Enjoy!

And to answer your question, Livia, the news team found us through this blog. Apparently when you google "American Dresden", it comes up for some reason.

When I watched the clip of the first post you made about it, I quit watching after Jasmine's post. Of course, I didn't realize there was more of the Michaelsons on it.

That is a lot of fun. I thought you represented America excellently.

Will you write a little more info about this show, presumably named Tagesschau? Is it broadcast weekly? Is it on German free TV?

Jake and Jaz! What a fun spotlight of you and your family!! You did a great job, and thanks, Jaz, for speaking a little more slowly so I could make out the subtitles quickly enough to understand what I was reading. Ha, ha. Thanks for sharing. We really missed you guys this weekend, and I'm sorry I didn't get to see Jake's interview/slideshow of Grandpa. Maybe you can have him email it to me?

That was much better. We missed you too. Adam really tried to get that thing playing at grandpa's funeral. It would just stop at 1:10. go figure.

Caleb, I wish I could help you out, but I actually don't know much about Tagesshau. It's a daily national news program, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. You can find out more at their website: tagesshau.de

Jazz-That is seriously so cool! Your German is amazing...you sound like a local. Funny that you're in Europe and you're closer than most Americans have ever been to our new president. :)
Cheers!

Wow!!!! Very cool. Give Jake a huge thumbs up for the subtitles. Make sure you archive the video file for little Jethro. He may be kind of upset that his fifteen minutes of fame came before he remembered...
